If you are interested in a super traditional sweater, knitted in Icelandic wool, the "Jektegenser" is perfect for you. Initially, this sweater is only available as a knitting kit here in the online store or at the Jektefart Museum in Bodø.
In the knitting kit, you will receive Lettlopi yarn by post and the sweater pattern by email.
The sweater is inspired by a photo taken by photographer Louise Engen in Bodø, 1904. She photographed Johannes Folgerø dressed in what was at the time a traditional "fisherman's attire."
